Ys Origin, initially released in 2006 for PC and later for various consoles including PS Vita, is an action role-playing game by Nihon Falcom. Set 700 years before the events of the earlier Ys games, it tells the story of the twin Goddesses and the six Priests who fled to the sky with the people of Ys, seeking refuge from a demonic invasion on the surface. Players choose one of three playable characters, each with their own unique storyline and combat skills.
